Krista Townsend: The Art of BEING a HERo

Sarah B. Smith Gallery
Exhibit Dates 10/4-10/26

The Art of BEING a HERo reveals moments in the lives of women who are living true to their values in their everyday actions. These are portraits of strong women in settings that represent individual power. True heroism is often remarkably unassuming and means being herself without apology.

John Trippel: Do You Live Here?

Downstairs South Hall Gallery
Exhibit Dates 10/4–10/26

This group of paintings is the result of time spent at home after retiring. This group is cut from scenes seen in the Mid–Atlantic area.   They are all oils which I do have a knack for making well. It comes from forty years’ experience and eleven years after High School time spent in colleges and Art Schools on the college level. These paintings came slow, but they arrived by way of working 2.5 hrs per day for a year come hell or high water.

Hope you like ‘ em.
