Participants will explore contemporary large format and/or un-expected material strategies as well as traditional wet and/or dry media techniques for creating potentially surprising drawings. The instructor, an AP studio art judge and the senior art judge for the North Carolina Governors Schools, has 30 years experience both as a college drawing instructor and working with HS age students. (This may be a good class for students wanting to create a piece for college and scholarship art/design portfolios.)

STUDENTS: High School and mature Middle School (rising 8th grade) teens

DATES and TIMES: Monday, June 18th to Friday, June 22nd @ 1:00-4:00pm

LOCATION: Starnes classroom

PAYMENT INFORMATION: $189 (Tuition covers all supplies NEEDED except for a small sketchpad.)
